The program controls the computer`s power according to your schedule. You can restart the computer, leave it on standby or turn it off using a schedule you create beforehand, hot keys or the command line.
Features: Choosing to shut-down a PC, re-boot at appropriate time, logging off users, setting up standby mode etc. judiciously can save a lot of energy for you. This particularly makes sense if multiple machines are in use in the organization. This program can manage the schedule of starting, shutting down etc. through a schedule created beforehand or through hot keys or command-line commands. Many a times these simple tasks do not get done because of simple laziness of users to do some monotonous tasks.
The Energy Spy program controls the computer`s power according to your schedule. The program interface is fully compatible with Windows XP. Energy Spy can also adjust the system time of your computer using time servers in the Internet. It supports "Socks v5", "Socks v4" and "Socks v4A" proxy servers for time synchronization protocol. It chooses the fastest server. It has the capability to address several servers at the same time and choose the best one. It will also manage CD drives trays using hot keys or a menu. It`ll eject a CD/DVD disk you have forgotten in the drive after Windows shuts down. Automatic opening of CD drive tray when the power is switched off, only if there is a disk in the drive. It can sound audio alarms and launching at power up.
Overall: Nice way of managing some power savings as well as maintaining time.
